Coming off her win for Album of the Year last year, which she won with Folklore, Swift was nominated for the same award again. However this time with Folklore‘s sister album Evermore. Though the award went to someone else, Swift’s absence was missed by her fans.

Cardi B was also nominated for awards this year at the 2022 Grammys. She decided to skip the show this year which did not go over well with fans. They attacked her on Twitter for not attending, which led to her deleting her Twitter.

Ariana Grande

Ariana Grande also decided to skip this year’s Grammy award show, despite also being nominated. She took to Instagram to post some behind the scenes of her Positions album which was nominated this year.
